The Lamplighter Dining ~ Rooms

Everything here was excellent, and the weather was particularly warm, appreciated it. Booked a room with amazing views across to the hills.

Useful base for one night, has great view across to the hills. It has unbeatable, magnificent setting, close enough to port, bus station and railway. Facilities are good, and there's shuttle to the village.

I've had an excellent stay in a long time. Everything was exceptional and fairly clean, I really enjoyed staff and location.

Thank you for an exceptional service, would recommend. Top-notch well run family place, it has perfect location not far from bus station so easy access to whole of the Lake District as well as shops.

Beautiful hotel, fairly clean, polite stuff and the beds where exceptionally comfortable. The location was fab for walking around High Street.

The property is fairly clean with a nice design, and the full English breakfast is gorgeous. Very central location, just a short walk away from St Mary's Church.

The staff is sweet and the American breakfast is free. It's welcoming with extremely comfy beds and glorious views😀👍

Staff and location were nice and I especially thoroughly enjoyed that the place was clean. I stayed in the room that was recently painted and available with a comfy bed, shower plus lovely view. The hotel restaurant was magnificent with wonderful cuisine.

The venue was a bit tired, nevertheless I really enjoyed its very good staff and food.

The bathroom I had was a little small.

Great value as opposed to other options, centrally located. Very big bed, luxury bathroom and complimentary wireless internet, terrace and microwave in the room. Set near the train station in the fabulous area. We ate at a very pleasant restaurant with nice food.

Super location, large beds, outstanding staff. We were given a classic double room, it was airy and bright. There was an excellent restaurant, the shops and supermarket next door.

the property was clean and attractive, had impressive location and staff. i got free upgrade and loved it. it was outstanding and there was free wi-fi.

Superb decor, OUTSTANDINGLY ACCOMMODATING stuff, comfy bed. I loved that the lounge bar was neat. Classic style hotel with fine furniture in the rooms. Late check out too.

Worth its 3 stars. The breakfast always had good choices. Lovely views from the window.

Living on a noisy street.

We really enjoyed location and staff, the hotel has everything you need for weekend. Room was a great value for money. There was a wide array of food that was fab! A lovely stay.

Superb location, helpful staff and the free parking was available. Having a terrace was a nice addition. The buffet breakfast was a big plus.

Dine at just good food, which is located within 500 metres from the hotel. The entire experience was lovely.
